Charlestown Police Log: Shots Fired on Carney Court

Dec. 2: As a result of a traffic stop on Maffa Way, an individual was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

Dec. 4: A disturbance on McNulty Court resulted in a suspect being placed under arrest for being a disorderly person.

Dec. 4: A Carney Court resident told Area A-15 officers that while sitting in her kitchen she heard a gunshot followed immediately by her kitchen window shattering. Thankfully, no one was injured. Ballistics was called to come by.

Dec. 5: A drug investigation on Medford Street resulted in a resident being issued a citation for possession of marijuana. 

Dec. 5: Police nabbed a person in the area of Vine Street who had numerous outstanding Charlestown Court warrant. He was placed under arrest.

Dec. 5: Residents on Pearl Street were just returning home when they discovered that their roof and basement doors were open. Thankfully, nothing appeared to be taken from the residence. While open, the locks on the doors were intact and there were no signs of forced entry. This mysterious matter is under investigation.
