Charlestown Police Log: Larcenies on the Rise

Police incidents over the weekend.

Nov. 11: Larceny. A victim on Green Street reports some unknown person stole his black and grey Fisher mountain bike from the rear of his vehicle. 

Nov. 15: Assault and battery: The victim reports while on Monument Street, she was involved in a fight with another female. The victim sustained facial lacerations. Complaints will be sought in Charlestown District Court.

Nov. 15: Larceny: A Charlestown man told police he left his silver and black Mongoose mountain bike leaning on a street pole at Cambridge and Spice streets. When he returned, he saw that nearly everything was gone.

Nov. 17: An Investigation: Several residents in and around Cambridge Street reported that they observed a white man, approximately six feet tall, medium build with blond hair and wearing a blue sweat suit looking into home windows during the day. Officers investigated but did not find any signs of forced entry. Residents are advised to call police immediately if they see him again. 

Nov. 17: B&E Residential: A homeowner on Brighton Street reported that someone entered the home thorough the rear kitchen window and removed a variety of electronics.
