Townies lose first football game

CHS football loses first game of the season

The Charlestown High School football team played their first game of the seaon on Friday, September 21 at West Roxbury High School and lost to the Raiders by a score of 26-0.  The game was the first for new headcoach George Munroe and his seventeen players.  Despite the loss, the team played hard and with practice, hope to win a few games this season.  Next game is at home on Friday, September 28 against East Boston at 6 p.m.
