My Brothers Keeper By Gayle A. Sweeney

Today marks the 410th day of my Brother Eugene F Sweeney's passing. I am heart broken to say he still lies in an unmarked grave. A fundraiser was held 6 months before my Brothers passing and his funereal expenses generously paid for by his best friend Steve Gurt. I am perplexed as to why my Brother, so generous throughout his entire life to all he knew. Still! Lies in an unmarked grave. I am my Brothers keeper! And I will hold a vigil from this day forth a daily count, as to how many days he lies without recogniton that he ever existed. Until a simple plaque is placed where he lies at Woodlawn Cemetery.
