Guy V. Perito, a lifelong Charlestown resident, died on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following an extended illness.
He was 63 years old.
Guy was born in Somerville on Nov. 22, 1949, a son of the late Gaetano Perito and Emma (DeLeo) Perito. Guy grew up in Charlestown and was educated in the Boston Public School system.
He worked as a manager for several restaurants in the area for several years.

Guy was the husband of 31 years to Tina M. (LeBlanc) Perito. He is the devoted father of Fred Perito, Jennie Perito, Emily Perito, Harold Perito, Tammi Georgopoulos, Guy Perito Jr., Christopher Perito and Janette Michaels. He is the brother of Gil Perito, Al Perito and Maryann Perito. He is also survived by several grandchildren and his beloved dog, Olivia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Guy's visiting hours on Monday, Aug. 26, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His funeral services and burial will be private.
