Old Knights of Columbus

Old K of C location construction.

Does anybody know what the story is on that site? I thought it was only going up two stories? But, as I look at the site it looks a little bit larger than that, They are about 20 feet down, and they are just about into the Phipps St graveyard, and into the Zelma Lacey house, Is this another secret? Another oh "weren't you at the last meeting" They don't even have a sign showing what the building is going to look like! As most construction sites do. Maybe we are going to get the match to the tower at the other end of the PrisonPoint bridge! Does anybody know???? Any answers CNC???

Mark Rosenshein knows exactly what is going on with that building site. As does Tom Cunha and Dave Whelan, and I'm guessing a majority of the council members. Will they acknowledge this, no? Will anyone on the CNC respond to this, no. I wonder how many unmarked grave sites were uncovered and never brought to the attention of the preservation society? Good luck JAP. I admire your tenacity. Maybe Becca Manning (like other past Editors) will ask some questions of the CNC and post her responses?

Update: Didn't you go to the last meeting! After they get done with the "New Surface Option" there will be 50 feet of lawn on the Rutherford ave side ,along with parking . You just have to go to the meetings! And the size of this project was approved back in 2008,as well as the removal of the Sullivan Sq underpass was approved by the CNC back in 2010 by the CNC And you know something I think I have attended most every meeting and never once was told until the last meeting , by Tom Tinlin that the Sullivan Sq underpass was not even going to be discussed ,because it was already settled it was going to the surface, thanks to the CNC approval, no resident imput!
