Spooktacular Doggie Halloween at Crate Escape

Local nonprofit animal organization som|dog is set to host a howl-a-ween fundraising event for canines and their humans.

Tricks and treats with local dog trainers, cocktails from Downeast Cider, a costume contest, hors d’oeurves provided by Whole Foods Market in Charlestown, samples from Whole Paws and more; prizes for most creative costume and couple entries.

This event is open to all dog owners: entrance is $15, current som|dog membership card holders can enter the promotional code HOWL at checkout for $5 off the ticket price.

The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and monster mashes on until 9:30 p.m. at Charlestown's Crate Escape, 200 Terminal St. Free parking available. Tickets are limited.
