Annual Monument Square Halloween Parade Tonight

Parade to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Bunker Hill Monument and heading

What would Halloween be with a parade of the horribles?
The 28th annual Monument Square Halloween Parade at the Bunker Hill Monument will be held today just around sunset. Participants should gather at the Monument at 5 p.m. with the parade beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The parade will start at the front of the Monument with The Tony Barrie Band and the Monument Square Wizard leading the way; keep an eye out for a juggling unicycler and a stilt walker along the route, and some special surprises. The parade will extend into the Training Field which is a great place for the younger kids.

Mr. Ron the Balloon Man will be back and this year marks the return of The Cooperative Bank “The Haunted, but Not Spooky House,” plus some features for older kids.

Residents who live along the parade route and are not in the parade can help by decorating their home and handing out treats in costume.
