Second Annual Turkey Trot Kid Races Set for Saturday, Nov. 23 at the High School

All proceeds from the races will be donated to Charlestown's Harvest on Vine, the community food pantry.

The second annual CHAD (Charlestown Against Drugs) Turkey Trot Kids Races will take place at the Charlestown High School football field on Saturday, Nov. 23.

There will be races for kids of all ages and a separate race for Moms and Dads. Depending on the ages, the kids’ races will be from 20 to 50 yards while the parents will be running a quarter-mile around the football field.

The winner of each race will be awarded a Thanksgiving turkey. And this year there will be an adult turkey toss with the winner decided by who tosses a turkey the furthest.
