A Morning of Prayer and Reflection for Women in Preparation for Lent, facilitated by Sr. Nancy Citro, SNDdeN
March 1 – 10AM to 12:30PM
The road we travel in our journey of life is made up of a variety of terrains: hills and vales, rough patches and smooth surfaces, clear views and hidden landscapes, desert spaces and fertile soil, hostile territory, and friendly regions. Though we may not always feel it, God is with us through it all, never leaving our side, ever ready to be welcomed into the midst of all that we are and all that we are experiencing, filling us with blessings to strengthen us for the journey. Our God is ever faithful. This is evident throughout salvation history and in our present day.
Lent is an excellent time of year toreflect on God’s journey of fidelity and our own. Come together with other women for a morning of prayer and reflection. The morning will begin at 10AM and conclude at 12:30 followed by lunch. Because of the need to purchase materials for the morning and provisions for lunch, we ask that you register for this event. We ask for a donation of $10 to cover the cost of the materials and food. If the fee is prohibitive, please let us know.
Registration forms and payments may be submitted via the web site, mail, in the basket at weekend Masses, or you may drop it off at the parish office. Registration deadline is Monday, February 24.
