Virtual Tour of Charlestown Historic Sites and Homes

Carl Zellner has identified the historic sites and homes in
Charlestown. His presentation will include photographs of each individual site
as well as the historic significance. Based on over 35 years of research and an
extensive library of knowledge, Zeller explains the location and importance of
each site.  The town was birthplace or
home to many important Americans, including five whom had a college or
university named after them.  Discover
the plaque commemorating Elizabeth Foster Goose (1665–1758), who collected the
Poems she sang to her children and grandchildren. Learn where the military
memorials are for all the wars which took our men and woman. In addition,
discover the Memorial to the Charlestown Victims of 911. Historian Zellner will
share the churches, schools, cemeteries around town. The presentation will also
highlight a number of residential and commercial buildings that are important
for their architecture, for their residents or for their purpose.

Do not miss this once in a lifetime chance to see the
complete visual history of Charlestown. Sponsored by the Charlestown Historical
Society, open to the public, light refreshments will be served.  The event will be held in the Education room
of the Bunker Hill Museum on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please join the
CHS. For more information see: charlestownhistoricalsociety.org
