Swinging Summer Nights: The Berklee Navy Yard Concerts

Boston National Historical Park, Summer on the Waterfront, and the Berklee College of Music present Damaris, an acclaimed singer and songwriter from Peru. Recently awarded a Berklee Latino Award Scholarship, Damaris Mallma Porras was already an accomplished musician before attending the school: she won two “gaviotas de plata” awards at the prestigious International Festival de Vina de Mar in 2008 for best folkloric song, sang at the White House in 2013, was nominated for a Latin Grammy, has recorded two CD’s and hosts her own TV show in Peru.
