RUN FOR SMART
Smart from the Start is a family support, community engagement and school readiness initiative that has as its mission to prevent the academic achievement gap among young children living in Boston’s most underserved communities. Smart empowers children and their families with the tools, resources, and supports they need to break cycles of chronic school under achievement and generational poverty.This year we are honored to have our beloved GED Teacher Margaret McPartland run the Boston Marathon in support of Smart. Her dedication to our children, families and community is inspirational! We are proud to have her as a member of the Smart Family and eager to support her in the 2014 Boston Marathon. Join us as we help bring change and brighter futures to Boston's most vulnerable children and cheer Margaret to the finish line!
