Holidays in the Navy Yard

Continuing the commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812, Boston National Historical Park will celebrate the season with "Holidays in the Navy Yard" on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 3:00--4:30 p.m.with period dancing by the Commonwealth Vintage Dancers, music, and children's stories read by National Park Service rangers in the historic Commandant's House in the Charlestown Navy Yard . 


Also that day the USS Constitution Museum will supply materials for visitors to create ornaments for Old Ironsides’ holiday tree from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the museum and visitors will be welcomed aboard USS Constitution for the ship's annual tree lighting ceremony following evening colors at sunset.
