Celebrate the season with Boston National Historical Park during Holidays in the Navy Yard on Sunday, December 2. The Commandant’s House will welcome visitors for a typical 1812 era open house with period music, dancing and children’s stories from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Warm up in the USS Constitution Museum and create a festive ornament for Old Ironsides’ holiday tree from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and take part in the tree lighting ceremony aboard the USS Constitution after evening colors at sunset (around 4 p.m.). All events are family-friendly, free and open to the public.
