Fr. Liam Bergin speaks on the Eucharist at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel

As part of our Year of Faith series, Monsignor Liam Bergin, Sacramental Theologian from Boston College, will speak with us about the Eucharist.

Father Bergin is originally from Ballacolla, Co Laois in Ireland. He was ordained for the Diocese of Ossory in 1985, having studied at St Patrick’s College, Maynooth, and the Pontifical Irish College in Rome. He was awarded a Doctorate in Sacred Theology by the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, in 1997. Fr. Bergin has held prominent positions at the Pontifical Irish College in Rome since 1993, including director of formation and vice rector, and served as Rector there from 2001 to 2011.
