Richard Platt presents "Finding a Voice: Writing Non-Fiction for Children."
Platt explores his experience in making history relevant, engaging, and accessible for a wide-ranging audience, and gives pointers to help aspiring writers find their own voice. Prior to the presentation, Platt will be on hand for a reception from 12:00-2:30.

British writer Richard Platt has authored more than sixty books for young readers, including books in the award-winning Incredible Cross-Section and Eyewitness series.
