"Edible Landscape Design"

Make Your Garden Look and Taste Wonderful This Summer!
Join the friendly gardeners of the Somerville Garden Club at their April meeting for a presentation by Barbara Emerson, a Principal Master Gardener and enthusiastic grower of new and heirloom vegetables. Starting with a brief history of food gardening, Barbara will then move on to concepts to consider when integrating edible plants in your ornamental garden, or edible flowers into your vegetable beds. She will also demonstrate how container combinations can help urban gardeners with just a patch of sun still grow beautiful and delicious healthy food.
The Somerville Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month; meetings are free and the public is invited to attend. Parking is available on site, and the building is a short walk from the Davis Square T station. Meetings are on the second floor, wheelchair accessible. You do not have to be a Somerville resident to join the Somerville Garden Club. For more information, please visit www.somervillegardenclub.org.
