David Sullivan of Charlestown in PIPPIN July 19 - 21
The winner of four
2013 Tony® Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical, PIPPIN is truly magical and
extraordinary! Boston Children’s Theatre
(BCT) is proud to present this thrilling musical to showcase the talents of 9-year
old David Sullivan of Charlestown. PIPPIN will be performed July 19, 20,
and 21 at The Governor’s Academy in Byfield, MA.
Playing the role of Pippin’s
brother ‘Lewis,’ David Sullivan was recently seen in Oliver at Wheelock Family Theatre.
He has also appeared with Charlestown Working Theatre in King John, Twelfth Night and A Christmas Carol. He is currently a student at the Advent
School in Boston.

and Wicked, and book by Roger O.
Hirson, PIPPIN follows a young man
on his journey to find meaning in his life. Will he choose a happy, simple
existence or risk everything for a moment of glory? Featuring such songs as “Corner of the Sky,”
“Magic to Do,” “Glory,” and “Morning Glow,” PIPPIN is directed by Lisa Yuen, director of BCT’s 2012 Studio 3 production
of Legally Blonde, with choreography
by Blair Beasley and Brianna Fallon, and music direction by Jaime Castellanos.

PIPPIN will be performed with 2 casts totaling 58 students between the ages of 9
and 14 at The Governor’s Academy, 1 Elm Street, Byfield, MA. David will be performing Friday, July 19 at
7:30 pm; Saturday, July 20 at 2:00 pm and Sunday, July 21 at 7:30 pm. Tickets
