Charlestown Greenovate Meet-up

How can I benefit my community? What can I do to make my family, neighborhood, and city safer; greener; better? Where will my voice be heard? The answer: HERE. Join "e" inc. and the Greenovate Boston Team for Charlestown's Greenovate Meet-Up, June 25th at 6pm.

Stemming from the city's plan to reduce Boston's greenhouse gas emissions,  Greenovate Boston is enabling people to take simple steps that will make our city a better, greener place to live and work. It provides a way for everyone in the city to work together to improve our planet, communities, businesses, and daily lives.

As a Greenovate Ambassador, local non-profit "e" inc. will be hosting this free forum to learn and discuss issues our city faces in the wake of climate change. At the Charlestown Climate Meet-up you will learn what measures the city is taking, discuss short term needs, and consider what long term steps we can take together. As a waterfront community, Charlestown faces great challenges because of the rising sea levels anticipated from Climate Change. This Meet-up is a chance to begin to consider ways  to work together in order to protect and prepare Charlestown both for disaster relief and long term resilience.
