Bob Halloran "Impact Statement" Book Talk and Signing
Zelma Lacey House cordially invites you to attend a refreshments and hor d'oeuvres reception in recognition of Bob Halloran, WCVB TV-5 Boston Weekend Sports Anchor, on the release of his book "Impact Statement".
For the past 11 years, Bob Halloran has been a news and sports anchor at
WCVB-TV Channel 5 in Boston. In addition to his work as a broadcaster, Halloran has written several books, including “Impact Statement: A Family's Fight for Justice against Whitey Bulger, Stephen Flemmi and the
FBI.”
Halloran also wrote “Irish Thunder: The Hard Life and Times
of Micky Ward,” which led to a role as a technical consultant for “The
Fighter,” the Oscar nominated movie about Ward’s life starring Mark
Wahlberg and Christian Bale.

Halloran’s other books are "Destiny Derailed" about the 2003 Boston Red Sox; "Breakdown," a story about the struggles faced by the players on an inner-city high school football team; and "The Fellowship of the No Longer Miserable.”
Halloran’s television career has included stops in Providence, Rhode Island, Fox-25 in Boston, and ESPN, where Halloran also wrote for ESPN.com.
