Abstract Color - Solo Art Exhibit at the Stove Factory Gallery




Alexandra Jordankova,
a graphic designer and visual artist from Boston, MA, is proud to announce her
solo art exhibit, the Abstract Color, from July 11th to July 13th,
2014 at The Stove Factory Gallery, a studio building of the Artists’ Group of
Charlestown located at 523 Medford Street Charlestown, MA.

Characterized by vibrant colors and texture, Alexandra’s
artworks show her particular fondness for immersive textures and abstract
landscapes. She mostly paints with acrylics on canvas and her works include smaller
mixed media intimate paintings called Divertimentos and larger pieces,
including 18” x 24” and 36” x 36”, which will all be part of her show together
with around 40 pieces of original abstract paintings. Alexandra is a member of Artists’
Group of Charlestown and has exhibited 2 of her abstract paintings at The Stove
Factory Gallery in the Spring Art Exhibit 2014 held in April. Her painting
“Looking Through” won her the 1st place in the exhibit.

Alexandra Jordankova is a graphic designer and visual artist
from Boston, MA with a particular interest in immersive textures and abstract
landscapes. Her passion for art led her from early tempera paintings and watercolors
to formal training and education in fine arts. Her work is diverse and
eclectic, but her determination to try out various creative process and materials
serves as a strong thread-line for her to express poignant articulacy and instinct
in her artworks. She is also a media creator, SMFA certified Graphic Designer
and professional artist with a particular interest in photography and abstractionism.
Alexandra has won several awards, including a Special Recognition Award for her
work “Amazonian Bird of Paradise” in the Botanicals Art Exhibition held at
Light Space and Time Online Art Gallery and Honorable Mention in Portraiture
category for “Orphan to Good Home” in the Spring 2014 International Women’s
Photography Juried Contest.

Everyone is invited to join and see Alexandra’s 3-day/weekend
solo art exhibition from July 11 to July 13. Opening reception is on Friday July
11th from 5 pm to 9 pm and on Saturday, July 12,  and Sunday, July 13,  from 11 am to 5 pm.
