Woman Charged with Assault and Battery with a Knife on Bunker Hill Street

Boston Police department responded to a report of a person with a knife on Bunker Hill Street at 11:23 p.m. on October 22.

A man told responding officers that a woman punched him and threatened him with a knife after a night of drinking. The victim stated that after he went to sleep, the suspect accosted him in the night. When he awoke, the suspects reportedly armed themselves with a knife from the kitchen and attempted to stab him. The man reportedly pushed the suspect away from him and fled the apartment to call the police.

As officers talked with the suspect, they noted a black handled knife was in the bedroom and asked why it was there. The suspect reportedly said that she might have used it to cook dinner, acknowledging that she had been drinking that night. The suspect denied wielding the knife against the victim, but could not state why the knife was not in the kitchen.

Officers arrested Jacquieline Flowers of 145 Bunker Hill Street and charged her with assault with a dangerous weapon.
