1. Charlestown Foodmaster to Become a Whole Foods: The announcement says Whole Foods will remodel the buildings and hopes to reopen them at the end of its 2013 fiscal year. Because the company's fiscal year ends at the end of September, that would mean the markets would reopen in late summer or early fall of 2013.

4. T Employee Returns Lost Wallet with Over $900 in it in CharlestownWhat would you do if you found a wallet on an MBTA bus with more than $900 in it? An MBTA bus repairman did what some would not suspect: He turned it into his instructor. Gaynol Waugh had been training to get his commercial driver’s license, according to the Boston Globe.

5. Annual Monument Square Halloween Costume Parade Next WednesdayOne of Charlestown’s most beloved events, the 27th Annual Monument Square Halloween Costume Parade, will be held on Wednesday, October 31.
