Take the T Boat? There's an App for That

The MBTA's popular mTicket app now available for commuter boat rides.

Charlestown residents who take the T's boat service each day have a new way to get on board. The mTicket mobile app unveiled for North Station-bound commuter rail lines now works for the T boat.

The app debuted last month and was well-received by commuter rail riders. Thousands of riders have downloaded the app since its release. According to the MBTA, the system is rolling out new services to the app.

The T commuter boat service runs out of Charlestown Navy Yard, East Boston near Logan Airport, Rowe's Wharf, Central Wharf, Long Wharf, Quincy, Hingham and Hull.
