3. Hey, something you should do this weekend: Go to Grasshopper Cafe for breakfast and tell us what you think. It finally opened last weekend. We had a writer stop by there yesterday (story coming soon). Word from him is the food is amazing.

4. A couple weeks back, we reported on some concerns local residents have about the . Neighbors are wondering whose responsibility it is to keep the HarborWalk clear. And city officials, it seems, are wondering the same thing. I got an email from Paul Sullivan, a member of the Charlestown Waterfront Coalition about this issue. He offered a bit more insight on the issue:

“In [certain] areas, walkers/runners and those in wheelchairs/scooters are trying to motivate through sections barely wide enough for people to pass in single file. Wheelchair travel is greatly limited and in some cases dead-ended. We are aware of some 'ownership' problems as regards most of these troubled spots. One other concern is the overdose of salting in the area of the Korean Veterans Memorial. As it now stands the walks reek of an excessive use of salt by whoever is responsible for that section. At the base of those walks, one travels onto Terry Ring Way and the areas that MGH service around their Nursing School. A marked difference is seen in the limited, yet effective, use of salting [there].”
