Man Charged With Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a License

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Officers were conducting a traffic control detail at Charlestown High School, conducting random vehicle registry check. The officers ran the plates of a 2003 Black Ford Explorer and pulled the car over.

When the officers asked to see the driver’s license, the operator stated that their license was suspended. The operator then produced a Texas license, which appeared to be valid. Officers ran the license through the Massachusetts registry and found that the license was suspended.

While waiting for the tow truck, the officers investigated the vehicle and discovered that the inspection sticker was altered and did not belong to the suspect’s vehicle.
