BREAKING: Two Alarm Fire Reported on Phipps Street

Fire reported on Phipps Street.

UPDATE, 2 p.m.: A woman with burns and firefighter with cut to his face were taken to the hospital. .

Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at 7 Phipps St. just before 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Reports say that EMS were requested for burn victim.

There was heavy smoke showing from the garden-style apartments when firefighters arrived, according to public safety radio transmissions. 

Boston Police have blocked off traffic on Phipps and Main streets to the rotary, according to the department's official Twitter account.

Street justice or just coincidence? If just a coincidence, I hope the burn victim is recovering and wasn't terribly injured.

I'm so sorry to hear about the fire and all those displaced from their homes because of it! They are lovely people. Hope everything is ok and no one was harmed.
