5 Neighborhood Events Not to Miss This Week

Today is Monday, Nov. 14. Here are five things you need to know today.

1. There's been a lot of dialogue on Patch lately about loitering on Main Street and the . If you want to continue that conversation in the real world, this Tuesday's meeting at the might be a good place. The . It starts at 6:30 p.m. 

2. The CNC's basic services committee is hosting a meeting on Wednesday. This one's on the in Charlestown. (It wouldn't go into affect until April 2012.) For more details, stay tuned to Patch, or stop by the meeting. It starts at 7 p.m. at the Knights.

3. Business leaders in the neighborhood are t at . These are part of an ongoing set of breakfast meetings organized by the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce. Get more details .

4. And there's a cool educational event scheduled at the on Thursday evening. Ever wonder what people wore 150 years ago? Learn all about it at a presentation on "practical" and "fashionable" dress from the Civil War era. Details .
