Movie Crew Will Visit This Week Without Stiles

The movie crew for the film "The Makeover" will return Sept. 24-26.

from a movie crew will not include the production’s most notable star—“10 Things I hate About You” and “Bourne” veteran Julia Stiles.

Cameras and crew for the made-for-TV movie “The Makeover” will come to town Wednesday and Thursday to film at Salon Forty-Four on Main Street and an active construction site at the corner of Park Street and Warren Street. The crew will also spend time at the Charlestown Commerce Center at 50 Terminal Street.

This week’s filming will include traffic disruptions. Ryan Cook, who’s assisting with the production’s local arrangements, told the Charlestown Neighborhood Council, Tuesday, that they will not extend into rush hour.

Charlestown Patch obtained an email from Ryan Cook to a local personality saying that Stiles would not be included in filming this week.

The crew will return to Charlestown on Sep. 24-26 to film on Belmont Street and Union Street.

Sept. 12

  • 7 a.m. – 9 a.m., Park Street at Warren Street—active construction site
  • 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., 44 Main Street—Salon Forty-Four
  • 2 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., 50 Terminal Street—Charlestown Commerce Center

Sept. 13

  • 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., 44 Main Street—Salon Forty-Four
  • 2 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., 50 Terminal Street—Charlestown Commerce Center

Sept. 24

  • 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., 12 Belmont Street—Exterior Private Residence

Sept. 25

  • 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., 12 Belmont Street—Exterior Private Residence

Sept. 26

  • 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., 12 Belmont Street—Exterior Private Residence
  • 4 p.m. – 10 p.m., 56 Union Street—Old Sully’s Pub
