JP Composter Opens Charlestown Office

Bootstrap Compost has expanded, according to the local business's Facebook page.

The originally car-free Jamaica Plain-based composting service has expanded into Charlestown.

Bootstrap Compost, an organization that collects residential compost buckets for a weekly fee of $8, has opened up an office in Charlestown, according to a post on the company’s Facebook page Friday.

“A record breaking day for our Jake - Bootstrap's new Business Administrator - truly unstoppable on his solo mission to clean and sanitize 74 buckets today at our new space in Charlestown,” the post says, with Jake standing next to a stack of buckets.
