Share Your Daily Charlestown Photos

Patch is re-launching its Photo of the Day feature.

Picture Charlestown.

What do you see? The Tobin Bridge, the Bunker Hill Monument, the Navy Yard's historic buildings? A tall ship in the harbor?

There are so many great images to capture in this neighborhood—and, judging by Charlestown Patch's recent Facebook photo contest, so many great photographers here as well.

That's why Patch is bringing back our "Photo of the Day" feature.

We invite you, our readers, to submit your favorite photos of daily life in Charlestown. We'll post a photo each day that says a little something about what it's like to live here. Maybe it's your kids playing in the park, your dog basking in the sunlight on the pier, a youth sports accomplishment, a moment during a local event, a favorite seat at your favorite restaurant or an awe-inspiring city view. Whatever captures your eye, capture it on your camera, too, and email it to becca.manning@patch.com, text to 781-217-4233 or tweet @CharlestwnPatch. Then add in a line or two about where or when the photo was taken.

We'll run them as quickly as possible, posting a new photo every day on Charlestown Patch.

or you can just tag your photos with #02129 on Instagram and not have to see Advertisements....just sayin'

Are the ads really that offensive? We try to keep them reasonable (no pop-ups, etc.) and placed naturally onto the page. If you're having any issues with ads making things hard to read or otherwise, please let me know. becca.manning@patch.com
