Mark Wahlberg to Reunite With Funky Bunch For Marathon Victims

The Hingham business owner said he looks forward to being at next year's Boston Marathon.

Mark Wahlberg said he will reunite with his old hip-hop group, the Funky Bunch, to raise money for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Wahlberg, who is co-owner of Alma Nove and Wahlburgers in Hingham, told TMZ on Wednesday that “he's totally game” to get the gang back together for a fundraiser.

Earlier this year, Wahlberg said Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch could make a comeback.

The Hingham business owner also told Fox 25 Boston that he looks forward to being at next year’s Boston Marathon. He said the bombing has hit close to home as he attended Copley High and walked Bolyston Street thousands of times in his life. 

“I’m there all the time … when I was hooking school that’s all I did was hang around that area.”
