Crew Seen Filming New Denzel Washington Movie in Charlestown

Film crews were around Charlestown on Tuesday, July 9 doing work on the new movie "The Equalizer," starring Denzel Washington.

CNC member Bill Galvin reports that filming took place on the High Street block between Pleasant and Cordis streets and was expected to last for one day only. The film crew parked their trucks on Bunker Hill Street and on Monument Square.

Based on a classic TV series, "The Equalizer" is set for a September 2014 release, according to IMBD.com.
