Daily 5: Orchestra in the Park
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on Wednesday, July 10 in Charlestown.
1. Chance of rain: Today will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. Some storms could produce heavy rain. More rain is possible in the evening, mainly after 1 a.m. High: 83, Low: 73.
2. Library fun: Learn all about the woodchuck during a special story time hosted by Mass Audubon on Wednesday, July 10 at the Charlestown Branch Library (179 Main St.). There will be two sessions at 10:30 a.m. and 11:05 a.m.; reserve a spot by emailing lmiller@bpl.org. Also on Wednesday, teenagers are invited to drop by the library between 2 and 3 p.m. for an origami workshop.
3. Farmers Market: The Charlestown Farmer’s Market, hosted by the Kennedy Center, will return for the 2013 season on Wednesday, July 10. The market will be held every Wednesday during the summer from 2-7 p.m. on Main Street next to the Hubway bike rack. Stillman's Farm will be selling produce and meat products.

4. Concert in the park: The Boston Landmarks Orchestra will present a free brass concert at the DCR’s Paul Revere Park in Charlestown on Wednesday, July 10 at 6 p.m. As part of the event, children can discover what it is like to play an instrument.
5. Campaign visit: Boston City Council candidate Michelle Wu will hold a park party with snacks and refreshments on Wednesday, July 10 at 3 p.m. at Peter Looney Park. All are welcome to attend.
