Daily 5: 'City Hall To Go' Visit, Reggae at City Square Park

Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on Wednesday, July 17 in Charlestown.

1. Mostly sunny: Today will be mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening before 2 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. High: 93, Low: 75.

2. City Hall To Go: Boston’s "City Hall To Go" truck visits Charlestown on the third Wednesday of every month at 4 p.m. On July 17, the truck will be at Thompson Square. The bright red vehicle provides a range of city services, including the ability to pay or dispute parking tickets; request birth, death or marriage certificates; and pay property and excise taxes. 3. City Square concert: Bring a picnic and come enjoy some reggae music performed by Irie Roots tonight from 5:30-7 p.m. at City Square Park in Charlestown, part of the City Square Park Summer Concert Series. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Thursday.

4. Farmers market: The Kennedy Center's Charlestown Farmer’s Market is open Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to dusk through the end of October. Located on Main Street, near the Hubway rack and right in front of the Bunker Hill Mall, the Charlestown Farmers Market features produce and meat products sold by Stillman's Farm and a few other vendors.

5. Shopping event: Haven (1 Thompson Square) in Charlestown will host a jewelry event on Wednesday, July 17 from 6-9 p.m. Shop a variety of hand-crafted jewelry from Anna Beck and Baroni Designs and sample beverages from Arlington’s Mystic Wine Shoppe.
