Buses Will Replace Trains on Orange Line in September, October

Orange Line users, get ready for more buses in the evening over the next couple months.

MBTA officials announced that buses will replace trains after 9 p.m. on Sept. 9 and 12, and again on Sundays through Thursdays from Sept. 15 to Oct. 10, according to the “T” website.

The buses will run between Charlestown's Sullivan Station and Oak Grove Station, and impacts Medford’s Wellington Station and Malden Center Station, as well.

The delays are due to work on the Assembly Station project in Somerville.
