A Bass In the Water with Charlestown Boys and Girls Club Kids
Part of the Celtics' Shamrock Foundation effort to support children in New England.
Boston Celtics forward Brandon Bass was like a fish in water when he joined Charlestown kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Boston for a swim class to increase awareness of water safety and the importance of learning how to swim.
Through active participation in aquatics, Bass is hoping to inspire children to swim and teach them the importance of community, good sportsmanship, self-confidence, and strong character.
Bass was part of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation efforts to support programs that directly benefit children in the New England community. The Foundation partners with New England-based non-profit organization like the Boys and Girls Club of Boston to support the education of children in need.
