Movie Stars Meet the Heroes of the Boston Marathon Bombings

Police officers from Boston and Watertown spent time with the stars of the new movie 'R.I.P.D.' over the weekend.

First responders from Watertown and Boston got a brush with fame on Sunday, July 14 when they got to meet Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges, the stars of the new movie "R.I.P.D."

The Hollywood stars met members of the police and fire departments from Watertown and Boston, along with the MIT Police and other heroes of the Boston Marathon bombings and subsequent capture of the suspects, according to a story in the Boston Globe.

Catching a movie at the Regal Fenway theaters provided the first responders with a nice way to relax after the recent events in and around the Hub, Boston Police Superintendent Daniel Linsky told the Globe.
