Coaches Needed for Charlestown Soccer Spring Season
Charlestown Youth Soccer is looking for head coaches and assistant coaches for the upcoming Spring season. Charlestown Youth Soccer is a growing all volunteer organization with 13 travel teams participating in the Middlesex league. Ages of our players range from 8 to 14 years old. Coaching involves a commitment of two one hour practices weekly and a game on Friday night or Saturday at our all-turf fields at Charlestown High School or at an away field. Friday evening games are held under the lights. Towns in the Middlesex league are mostly within a twenty minute drive and include Somerville, Medford, Malden and Melrose among others. The Spring season runs from March 24 to June 14, is great fun and very exciting culminating in a regional tournament, the Commissioners Cup, which Charlestown teams have won three times.
