Two young residents of Mishawum Park – a 337-unit residential community on Main Street in Charlestown – were recently recognized for their contributions to the 2014 MassHousing Calendar Project.  Ryllie Burke-Erardi was named second place winner of the seven-year-old category and six-year-old Sadie Telles came in third place in her age group.

Each year, MassHousing – a not-for-profit, public agency providing more than $16 billion in financing for buyers, owners and developers of affordable rental housing – facilitates the calendar contest to provide youth residents with an opportunity for creative expression and the chance to have their artwork published in MassHousing’s annual calendar.  This year’s Calendar Project drew 156 submissions.

According to Kelly P. Tucker, Chairperson of Mishawum Park Tenants Association, “the MassHousing Calendar Project proved to be a very positive experience for our youth residents and we’re very proud of these girls who represent Mishawum Park.”

Thank you to Kelly tucker for all your help removing snow it made it easier for the residents on the street. Just to remind people Kelly was voted on the board by the residents, she does a lot for the community. I'm not an ass kisser but she never gets recognized for the positive things but people are quick to say things of the negative. I have been on both sides of the fence but she is very approachable, thanks Kelly for all the good things you do

Just thinking why don't u post a valid name cowards r what we define u as, she has license to drive bobcat, very quick to judge social life just little FYI she has two children one who requires a lot of Kelly attention do to his diability down syndrom, and another child try walking in her shoes social life consists of a lot of doctors appointment, u shouldn't be quick to judge a person who is trying to help and doesn't get paid for her time before u speak ill of her, have the balls to approach her with your negative talk. People like yourself usually suffer from insecurity, and have issues that they can not face so find fault were it matters stop being ball less. Thanks Kelly tucker there should be more people like you in the world.....

It's pretty sad how this thread turned from something positive to a b*the session.. For "just thinking", for a person who is so concerned about children, why don't you worry about yourself and stop creating nonsense problems over things you are not educated on. & let's get back to the REAL purpose of this article! Congrats to both girls who won this award!! PS Mrs. Tucker is a strong women who knows it takes a village to make this complex all it can be and works to keep the CHILDREN & elderly safe from slips and falls! Rock-On KT!!
