Karyn Polito, Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor, was in Winthrop on Tuesday to address the Chamber of Commerce and talk about ways that help small businesses grow. "Small businesses are the job creators and innovators in the Massachusetts economy," said Karyn. "And yet businesses in Massachusetts are overburdened with regulations and taxes, making it difficult to start a new company and succeed. As a small businesswoman I understand the challenges of operating a business and look forward to working with leaders in Winthrop and around the state to make Massachusetts a place where both entrepreneurs and decades-old can flourish side by side."
