East Boston Youths Earn Boston College High School Honors
Juan Carlos Landaverde ’14 and Edwin Leonel Mejia '17 of East Boston achieved High Honors for the First Quarter at Boston College High School. For High Honors an upperclasman must have at least a 3.80 QPA and all grades C+ or higher. Freshmen need a 3.6 quality point average and all grades '"C+" or higher.
Christopher John Giubilo '14, Nicholas Anthony Jacques '14 and Jeffrey Isaac Heredia '17 achieved Honors. For Honors a Soph., Jr.,Sr. must have at least a 3.20 quality point average and all grades '"C-" or higher. A freshman needs a 3.16 and all grades '"C-" or higher.
Boston College High School is a Jesuit, Catholic, college-preparatory school for young men founded in 1863. The school enrolls approximately 1600 students from more than 100 communities in eastern Massachusetts.
