Charlestown All-Stars To Continue Playoffs Tonight

After a tough loss to East Boston this past week the Charlestown Williamsport All Star team had a second chance to stay alive with a do or die game against Mission Hill on Wednesday night. With five tremendous innings of lights out pitching from Jared Burhoe, great defensive plays, aggressive offense and base running and an awesome sixth inning closeout by Jason Smith the Townies took home a 6-3 victory!!!

In order to stay alive they play tonight against Allston/Brighton at 6:30 p.m. under the lights at the Neck. We are very lucky that we are able to play these games at home here in Charlestown and we have the best field in the city thanks to Dave Cahill and his amazing grounds crew. Our fan base has been a good crowd of parents and supporters but we really need to pack the house and we are hoping that we can turn out a great crowd tonight to support these Townie baseball players!

Please support our 11- and 12-year-old All Star team as they continue their District 9 Playoffs TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m. vs. Allston/Brighton at the Neck.
