1. Rainy: Tuesday,

2. Wallace Court meeting: The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services will hold a community meeting to discuss a proposal for new dormers and a roof deck at 6 Wallace Court in Charlestown on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 6:30 p.m. the meeting will be held at 6 Wallace Court. The item will go before the Boston Zoning Board of Appeal on Aug. 20.
3. BCYF Fenway Challenge: At the Boston Centers for Youth and Families Fenway Challenge, kids ages 7-14 get a chance to compete against others in their age group in baseball skills—base running, pitching and batting—for a chance to score a pair of Red Sox tickets. 4. Call for entries: Artists in the Charlestown and North End neighborhoods are invited to submit entries for the next Greater Boston Community Art Exhibition. Send 4-6 images (in jpeg files), a resume and bio to Susan Merritt at email@example.com. Pieces must be at least 16 inches by 20 inches. The deadline for entries is Sept. 1.
