The Courageous Sailing Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children through sailing. Established in 1987 as a joint effort between the Boston Department of Parks and Recreation and South Boston sailing enthusiast Harry McDonough, the organization has since grown into a multifaceted educational facility, helping kids develop essential responsibility, leadership, communication and team-building skills.
