Visit the USS CASSIN YOUNG, a World War II destroyer named for a Pearl Harbor veteran, to honor the men and women served the nation that day.
The 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor will be commemorated aboard the World War II destroyer USS Cassin Young in the Charlestown Navy Yard.
The destroyer is named for U.S. Navy Commander Cassin Young, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions during the attack on Pearl Harbor.

More About Charlestown Naval Shipyard Park
One of the Navy's oldest shipbuilding facilities, Charlestown Navy Yard is a must visit for anyone with an interest in American history. The shipyard is located at the north end of the Freedom Trail. Both the famous USS Constitution and WWI's USS Cassin Young are berthed at the shipyard and open for tour. The yard is maintained by the U.S. National Park Service and houses a Visitor's Center and gift shop.
