You are invited to an evening presentation of reflection and discussion on an extraordinary moment in the Catholic Church.
PRESENTER: MONSIGNOR JAMES P. MORONEY
SAINT MARY’S CHURCH, 55 WARREN STREET, CHARLESTOWN
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28 — 7:00 PM
ALL ARE WELCOME!
On February 28 at 2:00 p.m. (EST), the Chair of Peter will be declared vacant: “sede vacante” as the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI takes effect. In the meantime, Roman Catholic Cardinals from the world over are traveling to the Holy City to prepare to elect the next Pope. The Conclave will commence in early March and all media will be excluded as the Cardinals begin this sacred time of discussion, prayer and decision.
Monsignor James Moroney, Rector of Saint John’s Seminary, is a lively and dynamic presenter, who has offered reflections and commentary on a wide range of ecclesial matters. He has been invited by hundreds of Bishops throughout the United States to give presentations and has worked extensively at the Vatican.
Please join us for this remarkable evening!
