At USS Constitution Museum
Get in the holiday spirit at the USS Constitution Museum! Beginning Saturday, November 24th you can create a weatherproof ornament for the holiday tree on board :Old Ironsides" for FREE. Ornaments made before December 2 will be included in USS Constitution’s annual tree lighting ceremony. After this date, any ornament made at the Museum can be placed directly onto Constitution’s tree by YOU!
Want to add a little nautical style to your own holiday tree? Support the USS Constitution Museum’s educational programs by buying and decorating your own keepsake ornament. Two versions are available; our classic “anchors aweigh” wood ornament ($2.00) and a new limited edition copper ornament ($5.00). This holiday family fun activity will be ongoing until December 24th. General Museum pipe-cleaner ornaments are free

More About USS Constitution Museum
Dedicated to educating Americans about the historic USS Constitution and remembering the Old Ironside stories, the USS Constitution Museum sits on the Charlestown Navy Shipyard right across from the naval vessel. Opened in 1976, the museum receives up to 275,000 visitors annually. Its current exhibits include A Sailor's Life and the Old Ironside in War and Peace, as well as several temporary exhibits. A gift store is located near the entrance and features everything from apple cherry candies to printed T-shirts and caps.
