The Charlestown Neighborhood Council will conduct a community meeting relative to the development at 63 Rutherford Ave. The proposed project includes a change of legal occupancy from a commercial/industrial building to a Three (3) Family Dwelling creating a multilevel dwelling with an elevator connecting to all floors.
This plan also calls for the construction of a new 4th level penthouse addition and roof decks. The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28 at the Knights of Columbus , Lower Hall, West School St., Charlestown, MA. All interested residents are invited to attend. Described as a Catholic fraternal benefit society, the Charlestown branch of the Knights of Columbus has two halls, one that accommodates 120 and one that accommodates 350. The basement serves as a members only facility that has a full bar and pool table, as well as several TVs that regularly feature sporting events. This facility requires membership for admission.
